Lisa M. Huelskamp, LPC, CWC, NCC, PhD in STEM (she/her/hers)
Owner/Clinician
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Wellness Counselor (CWC), and National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) in Central Ohio with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling - a program built on a social justice and multicultural framework - along with a PhD in STEM education, Masters of Arts in Gifted Education, and a Bachelor's of Science in Science Education, all from The Ohio State University.
Supported by 32 years as an educator in k-12 & university settings, I am able to incorporate user-friendly and approachable 'bite size' strategies to fit your learning style and needs.
I welcome and validate individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and interests and value a flexible worldview with multicultural perspectives. Everyone deserves to feel seen, safe, and healthy.
When not working with clients or conducting research at OSU, I spend time as a professional musician, being in nature, traveling with my husband, gardening, baking, and volunteering for Great Dane and cat rescues.
